Creative Brief
Client’s company is a startup, and it is now mainly doing the business between Sweden and China, so she asked for a sense of Scandinavian feeling in the logo design. And it is because the company is aiming at culture exchange and publication industry, so she also requested that the logo and company’s visual identity should be lively and soft.
Sketches
From the very start and out of nowhere, I always want to obtain an illustration of an ant in my logo design, no matter it’s flat or not. And the color should be warm and in low value. I did some sketches initially, but I was not really satisfied with them. Ant’s six legs are difficult to depict because they are too thin and fragile. So at last, I decided I will only include ants’ heads in my logo design. Inspired by the symbolizing character of message bar as communication, I combine it with ant’s heads in order to bring out company’s mission.
